As you might have read earlier in the web site, I have been provinding audiological care for over 29 years now. It amazes me when I say that. I feel like it was just yesterday when I first became an audiologist. I remember how nervous I was when I first started seeing patients.
You would think that after 29 years of doing the same thing, I would be burnt out by now. Not only am I not burnt out, I love my job more now than ever before. I feel so blessed to have choosen this field and to be in the position I am in now. One reason I love my job now more than before is because of the amazing advances in technology. I am able to help so many more people than I was before. However, the biggest reason I love my job so much is because I truly enjoy working with all the patients I get to see everyday. What a blessing it is to get to meet new people everyday, to share in their lives, to laugh together and then to be able to help them improve the quality of their lives. What more could you possibly ask for. I want to thank all of the patients I have had over the years, who have put their trust in me, and allowed me to do what I love.
